  • The Sea of Faith - poem

A few poetic words I wrote for my love when I was about to dock after a two week trip on the Mediterranean sea without him... all about ten years ago!

    - - - Sea-of-Faith poem

    The Sea of Faith

The Sea of loving endurance and devotion...
Was once fully at round earth's shores
Lay at the folds of a bright compass furled.
Now I hear from fond Northern Seas moreover

  • Sailing with family - poem

This is an old poem I wrote over ten years ago, now that I moved off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to the Mountains of North America, where the lakes will become a sailing spot, I remembered the good old times!

    - - - - sailing poem

    Sailing with Family

    The sea was always calm.
The tide was full, the moon shone clear.
Upon the straits; -on the coast there was light.

Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay.
Come to the window, sweet was the night air!
Only, from the long line of sea spray in your face.

Where the sea meets the moon-blanched sand,
It looked like a huge blanket of silver sparkling
Listen! You may hear the sea roar from its waves.

    Mais j'entends siffler le train, {2x}

    Et j'entends siffler le train, {2x}

J'ai failli courir vers toi, j'ai failli crier vers toi.
    C'est à peine si j'ai pu me retenir !
    Que c'est loin où tu t'en vas, {2x}

    Et j'entends siffler ce train, {2x}

HOW DRUNK AMY WAS AT HER LAST CONCERTS!!

    Amy Winehouse fischi all'ultimo concerto

Uploaded by rai on Jul 23, 2011

    LAST INTERVIEW:

Amy Winehouse: "I'll be dead in a ditch, on fire"

(Warning: Strong language throughout and paragraph 30)

    By Chris Wilman

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap) - When the news of Amy Winehouse's death hit, I couldn't help but thinking of how she'd told me that, in 10 years, she'd be "dead in a ditch, on fire."

It's important to emphasize that this was a joke, not a prophecy. It's hard to know whether she was really self-aware enough to be as worried about her own fate as everyone else would soon become.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEDORRU that's for you!

    SUMMER MAGIC

    by: Leslie Pinckney Hill (1880-1960)

So many cares to vex the day,
So many fears to haunt the night,
My heart was all but weaned away
From every lure of old delight.

Then summer came, announced by June,
    With beauty, miracle and mirth.

She hung aloft the rounding moon,
She poured her sunshine on the earth,
She drove the sap and broke the bud,
She set the crimson rose afire.

She stirred again my sullen blood,
And waked in me a new desire.

Before my cottage door she spread
    The softest carpet nature weaves,
And deftly arched above my head
    A canopy of shady leaves.

Her nights were dreams of jeweled skies,
Her days were bowers rife with song,
And many a scheme did she devise
To heal the hurt and soothe the wrong.

For on the hill or in the dell,
Or where the brook went leaping by

Or where the fields would surge and swell
With golden wheat or bearded rye,
I felt her heart against my own,
I breathed the sweetness of her breath,
Till all the care of time had flown,
And I was lord of life and death.

A poem in support to Japan and the wonderful survival there due the environmental disaster and tsunami - the title of the poem will be unnamed as you are suppose to guess its title and author... every time you do, I'm sending money to the red cross for Japan, in the name of all my children... My love is gone

My love is gone, only a box full of memory remains.
She is gone to the beyond, as they say, into a celestial sphere
Is there such a thing, as they say among intricate legends?
Is there another sphere where suns may also shine bright?
